Bob was born in England just prior to the war and completed his national service in the Royal Air Force. In 1963 Bob decided to emigrate to Australia and arrived in Tasmania in 1966 after stops in Nepal, New Zealand and Perth. Bob married his wife in 1971 and from then until his retirement in 2002, Bob was employed as a sales representative with three major companies. Since retirement Bob has been active in the community by volunteering with CETCH Inc as a long-time board member and President. Bob has also served as a board member and President of the Huon Valley PCYC; a member of the Hobart Walking Club and Captain and President of the Huon Valley Golf Club. Bob has a great passion for golf and has played continuously since 1972.
