The Hobart PCYC Supporters Club are a select group of members who go the extra mile by making a regular contribution to our operations. This monthly donation is automatically deducted from your credit card and we send you a receipt at the end of the financial year so that you can claim the contributions as a tax deduction. Hobart PCYC is a registered charity and has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
Members of the Supporters Club help us to keep operating accessible and high-quality programs.
A bequest/gift is a financial donation that you intend to make after your passing. It can be made to an individual or an organisation such as Hobart PCYC.
You can choose to leave a set amount of money or you can leave a percentage of your estate to Hobart PCYC. Sometimes people choose to leave the ‘residual’ amount – this means that after all your other wishes are attended to, whatever is left will be donated or bequeathed to your charity of choice.
It is important that you make your intentions clear when preparing or updating your will. Deciding to leave a gift in your will is giving one of the greatest acts possible and you should seek appropriate legal advice.
