While everyone can benefit from lifting weights, older adults can reap even more benefits if they work toward a stronger, healthier body. Having a strong body helps you avoid injuries, falls, pain and other issues associated with getting older such as reduced muscle mass.
Join our Instructor Lucy Andrews (who specialises in training Seniors), in Hobart PCYC's Senior Strength class, where we make use of our Club's Weight Gym equipment upstairs!
This class is for all levels of fitness and ability, with no previous gym knowledge necessary.

There are no specific equipment requirements as everything that is required is provided by the Club. Participants only need to ensure they wear comfortable exercise clothing and appropriate footwear.
