Teen Gym is a program for 12-15 year olds, aimed at teaching participants how to correctly use equipment in gyms. This program is fully supervised by a qualified personal trainer, and seeks to build confidence for youths in a gym environment.
As there is a general industry standard that people under the age of 15 cannot use weight training gyms, Teen Gym endevours to help participants learn about their bodies and muscle growth in a safe environment, so when they can start using facilities unsupervised, they are comfortable and confident.
The program covers:
4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays
Teen Gym does not run during School Holidays.
Annual Student HPCYC Membership: $30.00
Session fees: $5.00 for HPCYC Members, $8.00 for Casual visitors
